Moby Announces New Album, Future Quiet, and Extensive Tour

Electronic music legend Moby has announced the release of his new studio album, Future Quiet. The album, his 23rd, will be released on February 20th via BMG. The album features 11 tracks in which Moby explores contemporary piano minimalism, atmospheric ambient sounds, and collaborations with guest vocalists.

The first teaser for the release was a reimagined version of the track "When It's Cold I'd Like to Die," featuring Jacob Lusk of Gabriels. The original composition was released in 1995 on the album Everything Is Wrong, and received a new wave of popularity thanks to the TV series Stranger Things. Today, the track has become Moby's most listened to work and is actively spreading on social media, having received a new orchestral sound.

The release of Future Quiet coincided with the announcement of Moby's biggest tour in the last ten years. One of the main events will be a large solo concert on Brighton beach in the summer, which will be the artist's only performance in the UK in 2026. The tour also includes performances at Coachella, Rock Werchter, Mad Cool and other festivals in the US and Europe.
